Major WWE Star Admits They’re “Closer To The End Than The Beginning”

A WWE star is keenly aware they can’t wrestle forever.

At WrestleMania 40, Becky Lynch will step into the ring with Rhea Ripley as she looks to claim the Women’s World Championship. Lynch remains at the top of her game, somehow managing parenthood and being one of the biggest stars in wrestling.

However, the star has admitted for the first time that she’s got one eye on what comes next after she hangs up her boots.

Appearing on Barely Famous with Kail Lowry, Lynch was asked about what’s next in her career. The former Women’s Champion said she’s closer to the end of her career than the beginning, but there’s still a lot left in the tank.

“Beyond wrestling, I suppose, wrestling is always going to be in my heart and in my blood. It got into my bloodstream early and you couldn’t get rid of me. Then you have to start looking at what’s on the other side. I’m closer to the end than I am the beginning, but there is still a lot left in the tank.

What are those dreams beyond that? I have a few, but my dad always said, ‘If you talk too much about them, they get lost in the wind.’”

Becky Lynch Yet To Sign New WWE Deal

Speaking elsewhere, Becky Lynch revealed her WWE contract expires in two months. Furthermore, she claimed there have been no talks between herself and the sports entertainment giant regarding a new deal.

The Man signed with WWE in 2013 and went on to become one of the biggest stars in the entire industry, winning just about every major prize the company has to offer.

In an earlier interview, Becky Lynch said her future was “up for conversation,” however, she stated in December that she wanted to retire with WWE.
