WWE Star Calls Out Company Following Major John Cena Announcement

John Cena continues to make big moves in WWE. This time, it has raised a question following the announcement on WWE RAW.

The Champ dethroned Dominik Mysterio as the Intercontinental Champion on last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. Now, WWE has done away with the automatic rematch clause, but it did not apply to Dirty Dom.

On the latest episode of WWE RAW, The Judgment Day member called out The Last Real Champion and demanded a rematch. Cena agreed for a match then and there, but Mysterio said it would be on his terms at Survivor Series. John Cena agreed, and the match was made official.

After the match was made official, Xavier Woods took to social media to question the rematch situation between Mysterio and Cena.

This comes after the fact that when The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh dethroned Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston for the World Tag Team Championship on June 30th, 2025, The New Day was not granted a rematch. Considering Mysterio is from the same faction as McDonagh and Balor, it seems not to sit well with the former tag team champion.

It is to be noted that Mysterio directly asked the champion for a rematch and not the General Manager.
