WWE NXT Hopes To Continue Ratings Success

NXT has seen some of its highest viewing figures in over 2 years in recent months, with the August 8th episode drawing an average audience of 776,000 viewers. Currently pulling in a higher audience than both Rampage and Collision, Eric Bischoff believes that NXT has the potential to beat AEW Dynamite in the weekly ratings in the near future.

Booker T also agrees with the current trajectory of the developmental brand, believing there is potential for the Tuesday night show to eventually obtain an average audience of over 1 million viewers.

Part of the ratings success has been the utilisation of main roster talent on the show, which has provided multiple benefits. Not only have the inclusions of stars like The Mysterios and Rhea Ripley brought more eyes to the product, but those who have been sent to NXT have been able to work on their characters and give those on the roster valuable experience of working with Raw or SmackDown talent.
