WWE Star Breaks Silence After Capturing Major Championship

Kelani Jordan has reacted to her shock title win at TNA Victory Road.

The WWE NXT star was one of the 10 wrestlers competing in a battle royal to determine the contenders for the vacant TNA Knockouts Championship.

Earlier in the evening, Ash by Elegance vacated the title, which she won at NXT Heatwave by defeating champion Jacy Jayne and Masha Slamovich.

While she gave no reason behind relinquishing the championship, Total Nonstop Action went ahead to set up a battle royal match, which saw Jordan and Lei Ying Lee emerge as contenders.

The two women contested for the championship, with future challenger and former WWE star Indi Hartwell as the guest referee.

The match witnessed multple close pinfalls. In the closing minutes, Kelani Jordan accidentally took out Hartwell, resulting in Lee hitting her finisher. However, Hartwell’s delayed count gave Jordan enough time to kick out.

The 26-year-old then hit Lee with her ‘One of a Kind’ split-legged moonsault finisher for the win.

Kelani Jordan has now become the second WWE female wrestler and the third overall to win a TNA title. In the men’s division, Trick Williams serves as the TNA World Champion.

Jordan took to X to react to her shocking win at Victory Road. She wrote:

Knock Knock…new Knockouts Champion 😉 #WWENXT #TNAVictoryRoad

At TNA’s next pay-per-view, Bound for Glory, Jordan will defend her title against Indi Hartwell, who was announced as the next challenger in advance.

Indi Hartwell, is a former talent of the Stamford promotion, who captured NXT’s Women’s Championship as well as the Tag Team Championship on RAW before being released in November 2024. She has been signed with TNA since April 2025.
