WWE Star Admits Being One Of The Most Hated Men In Wrestling
A top WWE star has admitted to being the one of most hated men in wrestling today.
As the leader of The Vision, Seth Rollins has two heavyweights in Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed to do the dirty work for him, like taking out the competition.
Over the last few months, The Brons have, at various occasions, attacked the likes of Roman Reigns, CM Punk, LA Knight, and Jey Uso, much to the dismay of the fans.
Plus, they have a mouthy manager in Paul Heyman, who does not mince words while trading insults with Rollins’ opponents or while taking jabs at the fans.
More recently, The Vision added Becky Lynch to its stable, elevating its star power unlike any other faction in the Stamford promotion.
At WWE Wrestlepalooza, he will partner up with Lynch to face CM Punk and AJ Lee in a mixed tag team match.
WWE Star Reveals Being One Of The Most Hated Men In Wrestling
The WWE World Heavyweight Champion recently appeared for a chat on ESPN, which is also the streaming partner of Wrestlepalooza PLE in the United States on September 20.
When asked about revealing his injury ruse at WWE SummerSlam, the 39-year-old admitted to being one of the hated men in the industry.
It’s a bit of a tale, but the bottom line is at WrestleMania, I became one of the most hated men in our industry. I aligned myself with Paul Heyman, better yet Paul Heyman aligned himself with me. Betrayed his best friend CM Punk and his Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, and he came to the dark side, if you will, he finally saw the vision, if you will, and I became a marked man. [11:05 onwards]
He then discussed his SummerSlam incident, where he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on CM Punk to win the World Heavyweight Championship.
During the same interview, Rollins discussed the experience of working alongside his wife and Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch.
