There is good news for fans of a rising WWE NXT star who is back in the ring after nearly missing a year of action.

Sol Ruca is a WWE NXT superstar who had surgery to repair a torn left ACL in early May 2023. Ruca suffered the injury in a tag team match at a NXT live event in late April where she teamed up with Dani Palmer against Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson.

On February 9th, Ruca was back in the ring at a WWE NXT live event, so it was about less than ten months after she suffered the torn ACL in her knee. She posted on Twitter/X to express her enthusiasm about being back in the ring.

At the NXT live event match in Crystal River, Florida, Ruca and teammate Brinley Reece lost to Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne when Reece tapped out to the Kimura Lock by Hail.

Sol Ruca Is Known For Having One Of The Most Unique Finishing Moves In WWE

The amazing thing about Sol Ruca’s WWE career so far is that she only signed a contract in March 2022 and made her television debut about six months later. That’s way faster than most people who sign WWE deals without experience, so it’s a testament to Ruca’s natural ability and ability to improve.

During her development in WWE, Sol started using an incredible finishing move called the Sol Snatcher. It’s like doing an RKO or Cutter off the middle rope but doing a complete flip before hitting the move. It’s a very athletic move that WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H has praised on social media as well.

At 24 years old, Sol Ruca has a very bright future in WWE and now that she’s back after her knee injury, she is somebody to keep an eye on in 2024.
