WWE SmackDown To Host Weigh-In Before Crown Jewel
The 3rd of November edition of SmackDown will see two WWE stars ahead of their heated clash at Crown Jewel.
Crown Jewel is just around the corner as WWE returns to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for a jam-packed show. Roman Reigns will make his first televised WWE Universal Championship defence since SummerSlam and it seems Reigns might not be returning for another major show in November.
At 2022’s edition of Crown Jewel Reigns saw off the improbable challenge of Logan Paul who attempted to end Reigns’ historic run as champion, but like everyone else, Paul found that The Tribal Chief and The Bloodline were too tough to overcome.
Logan Paul attacks on SmackDown
Following Paul’s alleged boxing match with Dillon Danis Paul wasted no time in setting the stage for his WWE return as he called out US Champion Rey Mysterio. What started as a respectful challenge with both men shaking hands previously has turned into a grudge match thanks to Paul’s actions.
Logan Paul joined the WWE Hall of Famer’s wayward son Dominik Mysterio in the ring on Raw where they both took jabs at the US Champion. On SmackDown in Milwaukee, Paul went one step further when he attacked Rey Mysterio backstage while Mysterio was watching his LWO teammates Carlito and Santos Escobar in action against The Street Profits.
The assault was shown on the screen which led to Carlito running to the back to help Mysterio, leaving Escobar at the mercy of The Profits who picked up the win.
It was later confirmed in the show that Logan Paul and Rey Mysterio will have a weigh-in on the final SmackDown before Crown Jewel.
