WWE SmackDown Return Scrapped
Fans expecting to see a former WWE Champion return to SmackDown in Columbus, Ohio have been left waiting by the company.
AJ Styles hasn’t wrestled since getting the better of Finn Balor on the September 15th episode of SmackDown. Later on the show, Styles was attacked by Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso and was last seen leaving the venue in an ambulance.
The attack came after Styles wanted to confront The Bloodline after they disrespected Michin in an earlier segment. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson had been against confronting the group, but Styles could not be persuaded by his OC partners.
WWE had apparently spoiled AJ Styles’ SmackDown return after the former WWE Champion appeared on the events page for the show before it aired. However, despite being included, Styles did not make an appearance on SmackDown after all.
What Happened On November 10th WWE SmackDown?
SmackDown proved to be a bad night for Kevin Owens despite him spending most of the night on commentary. Kevin Owens was suspended by Nick Aldis for attacking Grayson Waller and Austin Theory after agreeing not to get physical with any WWE stars.
In the night’s main event, Asuka teamed with Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair to take on Bayley, Kairi Sane, and IYO SKY in a huge six-woman tag team match. However, Asuka turned on her partners to join up with Sane once again which may well be leading to another WarGames match being confirmed for Survivor Series in Chicago.
