New WWE Signing Surprisingly Listed On NXT Roster

WWE Shawn Michaels Triple H NXT

A new WWE name is heading to NXT.

After missing out on the likes of Kazuchika Okada, Will Ospreay, and Mercedes Mone, WWE has committed to a recruitment drive in 2024. This has seen the company land Giulia, Ethan Page, Stephanie Vaquer, Delta, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu.

Meanwhile, the company is expected to secure the signings of the Lucha Bros in the coming months when their AEW contracts expire.

The signings of Tonga, Loa, and Fatu in particular have already had a major impact on the main roster, with the trio forming part of the new Bloodline alongside Solo Sikoa. With regard to Fatu, it’s believed he’s even being positioned for a singles match with Roman Reigns.

Ex-NJPW Star Heading To WWE NXT

Back in July, it was reported that WWE had signed another potential member for the group in Hikuleo. The former NJPW star is Tama Tonga’s half-brother and the adopted son of wrestling legend Haku.

Hikuleo hasn’t wrestled since competing at NJPW Dominion back in June, and he left the company shortly after that defeat.

It had been believed Hikuleo would slot into the Bloodline storyline on SmackDown whenever he debuted, but it seems that won’t be the case. According to a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the star is listed internally on the NXT roster.
