WWE Shockingly Ridiculed As “Entirely Fake” On UFC Show
Former MMA and UFC star Michael Bisping has stirred controversy by calling WWE “entirely fake.”
Bisping served as the commentator during UFC Fight Night: Tsarukyan vs. Hooker in Doha, Qatar. His comments came while discussing the background of Denzel Freeman, who was debuting against Marek Bujło.
Freeman had previously spent time in WWE’s developmental system in the 2010s, but the stint did not last long.
While the 34-year-old fighter would have expected his bout to end without controversy, Bisping’s comments did just the opposite, angering the fans of the Stamford promotion.
He was on the roster for professional wrestling to be in WWE,” Bisping said during the live broadcast. “He didn’t like it because it was just too fake. Obviously, it’s entirely fake. They kept telling him to slow down in training…

Previously, there have been incidents with professional wrestling stars taking offense at anyone labelling their work as “fake.”
Ultimate Fighting Championship and World Wrestling Entertainment are currently owned by Endeavor. Whether or not Bisping’s comments affect their trade in any way remains to be seen.
Ex-WWE Star Joined The Company Thinking Wrestling Was Fake
Despite claims that wrestling is fake, the truth is completely different.
Yes, professional wrestling is scripted and involves storytelling, but the in-ring action is not fake.
One former star found that out the hard way after joining the Stamford-based company, thinking that wrestling was fake.
Alexis Lete spoke to Adam Metwally on That One Time, where she was asked about the biggest pro wrestling myths.
That it’s fake. It’s a lot more real than you think. Everyone is like, ‘Oh, wrestling is so fake.’ I signed up to be in WWE because I thought it was fake. I didn’t think I was going to get injured. I didn’t think I was actually going to be doing stuff that hurt my body and potentially damage me for the rest of my life.
It’s a lot more real than people think it is and your body is so friggin’ sore. I feel like, for the year and a half I was there, my nervous system was constantly in fight or flight mode because of the bumping and constant wear and tear on my body.
