WWE Star Breaks Character With Special Praise For Sheamus

Sheamus WWE Raw

The wrestling style of Sheamus has earned a lot of praise from somebody he has wrestled many times.

During his incredible WWE career that will see him end up in the Hall of Fame some day, Sheamus has done it all and won it all in the company except for the Intercontinental Title.

While Sheamus continues to chase the Intercontinental Title currently held by Bron Breakker, one of the men he has faced several times in recent months is Ludwig Kaiser, who also has his eyes on the IC Title.

Ludwig Kaiser was interviewed by Chris Van Vliet recently and he spoke about how special Sheamus is as a performer.

“Sheamus is special. We’re talking about a future Hall of Famer. We’re talking about someone that I watched as a teenager. Sheamus is also a tough, nasty guy to work with.

If you don’t stomp this guy into the ground, he is going to come back up. You can’t catch your breath with this guy. He really is everything he says he is. He is that crazy Irish man who loves to fight and goes out there and comes back all bloody. He loves that and loves to go to war.

It triggers something in me that really wants to punch his head. I really don’t get tired of wrestling this guy. It’s fun, but I’m also pissed off fighting him because it is a war. It is a war with him. One of the greatest matches of my career so far, and I’d love to do it again. Whenever I can smash this old man’s head in, I will do it again.”

Sheamus Thinks Some Wrestlers Don’t Want To Get In The Ring With Him

Regarding his wrestling style, Sheamus talked about the reputation he has in the business and how some wrestlers may not want to be in the ring with him.

“The thing about me is I’ve never been a guy to take liberties. I will hit you. I will hit you hard. I’m not going to break noses and stuff, but I’ll hit you. But I expect to be hit back just as hard, if not harder, and they know that.

They’re relaxed there, and they can do that, and they can show a side of themselves that they probably wouldn’t be able to show with certain other talent or more experienced or veteran talent like me, and that’s just the way I like it,

I’m sure there are people who don’t want to get in there with me because they don’t like the physical aspect that I bring, but I don’t give a sh*t because if you want to go in there with me, come in there with me.

A lot of young talent will want to get in there, and they’ll know when they’re going to have a Sheamus match—a banger of a Sheamus match to walk away—and the crowd will give them that much more respect.”

As for his WWE future, the 46-year-old Sheamus confirmed he signed a five-year contract extension in January 2025, so he’ll keep going as long as he can and we know he’ll continue to produce banger matches because that’s what the powerful Irishman does.
