WWE Announces Randy Orton & Riddle Injuries
Following their loss of the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships on SmackDown, WWE has announced injuries to both members of RK-Bro.
The final moments of the May 20th edition of SmackDown saw Roman Reigns and The Usos viciously assault RK-Bro. This came after Jimmy and Jey Uso defeated the pair to become the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, ending Randy Orton and Riddle’s reign with the Raw Tag Team Championships after 74 days.
The Bloodline attacked the duo with the steel steps, and Riddle was sent through the announce table with an Uso Splash. Both he and Randy Orton were then rendered unconscious courtesy of Roman Reigns’ Guillotine Choke.
Later in the night, WWE announced on Twitter that both are undergoing medical evaluations, and confirmed that Riddle has suffered a bruised hip and lower back.

Before SmackDown aired, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that the feud between The Bloodline and RK-Bro is set to continue through the summer. He claimed that the plan is for Riddle and Randy Orton to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Money In The Bank and SummerSlam, respectively. Reigns is not currently scheduled to appear at Hell In A Cell.
At the time of writing, it is unknown when Riddle and Randy Orton will return to WWE TV.
