WWE Release Several NXT Talents
WWE has released several members of the NXT roster according to a new report with at least five members of the developmental brand leaving the company.
PWInsider has reported that Bodhi Hayward, Sloane Jacobs, Erica Yan, Damaris Griffin, and Ru Feng have all been let go from their WWE deals.
Bodhi Hayward had appeared in the Andre Chase University segments on the show but was seemingly written off television when he suffered an attack at the hands of Duke Hudson.
Sloane Jacobs had wrestled on live events for NXT over the weekend and had featured on the LVL UP programme. She was Nikkita Lyons’ second-ever opponent on the brand back in March 2022.
Erica Yan’s last match came in September where she teamed with Jacobs on a live event. Griffin only made four appearances on LVL UP during his time in the company, with the last of those coming in August 2022. Ru Feng made his NXT debut in October 2021 and appeared mainly as an enhancement talent until September 2022.
Recent reports suggested that talents in NXT and working at the Performance Center would be given a finite amount of time to show improvement in the ring or be released from their deals. It is not known yet if these releases are part of that directive.
