WWE Raw Ratings Boosted By CM Punk & Randy Orton

CM Punk & Randy Orton on Raw

CM Punk and Randy Orton helped WWE Raw bounce back in the ratings.

The November 27th episode of Monday Night Raw pulled in an average of 1,884,000 viewers which was an increase of around 400,000 from recent shows going up against the NFL. This represents an increase of 29% on the previous week and 13% on 2022.

The rating in the 18-49-year-old demographic also saw an impressive increase with 863,000 viewers in the bracket turning in. That’s an increase of 28% on November 20th and 64% on 2022.

The show was headlined by CM Punk who was making his return to the red brand for the first time since 2014. The former AEW star appeared in the main event and said how glad he was to be home in a short main event segment.

Meanwhile, Randy Orton opened the show before being jumped by the Judgment Day. Later in the show, The Viper defeated Dominik Mysterio in his first match since May 2022.

CM Punk Reportedly Has Interesting Clause In WWE Contract

It’s been reported that some in WWE were told by higher-ups that CM Punk has a “good behaviour clause” associated with his contract, although they haven’t confirmed this themselves.

The report reiterates that Punk wasn’t taking a victory lap during his promo and remains determined to move past his previous issues.
