Controversial WWE Star Plans To Be At SmackDown, New Matches Announced
A former WWE Champion plans to be at the first SmackDown event following Survivor Series.
Drew McIntyre was part of the victorious team in the Men’s WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series. McIntyre was on Paul Heyman’s team that included Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, and Brock Lesnar. They got the win over CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and The Usos thanks to a masked man attacking Punk during the match. Breakker finished off Punk with a Spear to give his team the win.
The inclusion of McIntyre on the team was a controversial one because WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis suspended him on the November 7th edition of SmackDown. McIntyre attacked a referee during a match to earn the suspension.
However, McIntyre was allowed to be on Heyman’s team at Survivor Series because Heyman could pick anyone for the match, even a suspended WWE superstar like McIntyre.
Before the December 5th edition of WWE SmackDown in Austin, Texas, Drew McIntyre posted a video from an appearance he made in the city, and he made it clear that he would be at SmackDown as well.
“I’ll be at SmackDown tonight. Screw you, Nick. Screw you, Cody. Drew McIntyre is for the people.”

Even though he’s not officially advertised for SmackDown, Randy Orton may appear as well, since he’s featured on the company’s website, which lists top stars who will be at the show.
Randy Orton’s last match in a WWE ring was on the October 3rd edition of SmackDown when he teamed up with the WWE Champion Cody Rhodes against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Unfortunately for the veterans Rhodes and Orton, they lost the match because Seth Rollins got involved and hit Orton with The Stomp that the referee never saw. Reed followed up with a Tsunami splash off the top rope and pinned Orton. Randy has been away since then.
