WWE Plans To Add More To Brock Lesnar-Cody Rhodes At SummerSlam
Now the match is finally signed for SummerSlam, it would seem WWE are ready to up the ante when Cody Rhodes takes on Brock Lesnar.
On the 17th July 2023 edition of Monday Night Raw, Cody Rhodes opened the show to address the crowd and try to get an answer from Lesnar to his recent challenge. When Lesnar didn’t appear despite his music playing, Rhodes headed backstage only to be attacked by Lesnar with a steel chair. Brawling back to the ring, Lesnar hit an F5 and locked on the kimura, both right in front of Rhodes’ mother, before officially accepting the challenge for ‘The Hottest Show Of The Summer’.
This match will be the third of the year between the pair. The feud began when Brock Lesnar attacked Cody Rhodes on the Raw after WrestleMania, when the pair had teamed together against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. Both men have one win a piece, with ‘The American Nightmare’ getting the win at Backlash while ‘The Beast Incarnate’ avenged the loss at Night Of Champions.
As this match could easily be the culmination of the feud, it can be expected that the pair will go the extra mile in some way. With that in mind WRKD Wrestling have claimed that WWE are set to add a stipulation to the match.
While not announced on #WWERaw , a stipulation will be added to Brock Lesnar vs. Cody Rhodes at #SummerSlam.

As you’d expect there’s no confirmation of what that stipulation is at this stage, and with over two weeks still to go before ‘The Hottest Show Of The Summer’ we may have to wait a little longer yet to find out.
