Major WWE Plans For Giulia After Title Loss Revealed

Giulia is no longer the WWE Women’s United States Champion.

The 31-year-old female star officially made her main roster debut on May 16, 2025, when she was announced as part of the SmackDown brand. She had already impressed fans and WWE officials during her NXT run, having debuted at NXT No Mercy in September 2024 and winning the NXT Women’s Championship earlier in her career.

The main roster move was highly anticipated as many believed she was poised to become a key player in WWE’s women’s division. Her biggest breakthrough on the main roster came on the June 27, 2025, episode of SmackDown, where she captured the WWE Women’s United States Championship by defeating Zelina Vega.

This victory marked a historic moment as Giulia went on to become the longest-reigning Women’s US Champion, holding the title for 133 days. During her reign, she successfully defended the title multiple times, including rematches against Vega and other fierce challengers.

However, her reign came to a shocking and abrupt end on the November 7, 2025, episode of SmackDown when she lost the title to Chelsea Green in just under two minutes. The match’s quick finish shocked many fans as they were enjoying her championship reign.

WWE Is Planning A Main Event Push For Giulia

As it turns out, there’s a reason why WWE decided to strip the title from Giulia, despite her having a dominant run. According to Cory Hayes of BodySlam, Triple H is planning to push Giulia into the main event scene, which required her to drop the title to Chelsea Green on the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown.

“The plan weeks ago was for her to enter the main event scene. Hoping that’s still the plan and she took the L like that to Chelsea for that reason.”

Green’s recent victory on SmackDown has made her a two-time Women’s United States Champion in WWE. The Hot Mess was quite happy with her big win and even promised to rebuild the company in a recent tweet.
