WWE NXT Talent Wrestles First TV Match In A Year

One WWE NXT star has returned from injury.

Back in October of 2022, Arianna Grace suffered a knee injury that would keep her out of action for nearly a year. On that occasion, the star teamed with ally Kiana James on NXT Level Up and suffered defeat at the hands of Fallon Henley and Sol Ruca, the latter of which is also currently out with an ACL injury.

In June, Grace took to social media to declare that her return would be worth the wait, writing:

“Good knee-news this week. I appreciate the love I’ve gotten from you guys since I’ve been out and I promise when I get back, it will have been worth the wait”

Now, at long last, Grace has returned to the squared circle, taking on familiar rival Fallon Henley at an NXT house show in Melbourne, FL on September 9th. On September 19th, the star competed in her first televised match since her injury, once again facing Henley in a taped match for the September 22nd episode of NXT Level Up.

Real name Bianca Carelli, Grace is the daughter of former Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella. She’s found great success as a pageant queen in the past and also has a history of training in boxing, jiu jitsu, and judo.

During a recent interview, her father Santino Marella revealed that one of his conditions for joining IMPACT Wrestling is that he be allowed to appear alongside his daughter in WWE if the opportunity arises, something IMPACT didn’t seem to have any objections to.
