WWE has reportedly put the main roster push of one of its talents on hold.

Over the last few weeks, NXT’s Blake Monroe was reported to be either Raw or SmackDown-bound.

However, according to a recent update by Bodyslam.net, the move has been put on hold, at least temporarily. Sources have cited the reason as the company wanting to feature her in a prominent role at NXT Stand & Deliver, occurring around WrestleMania 42.

Earlier, Fightful Select had reported that the Brit was being seriously considered for a potential move to the main roster, with Raw being her next destination.

Monroe made her first WWE appearance on the NXT brand during the June 3, 2025, taping, where she put the women’s division on notice.

Since then, she has won the NXT Women’s North American Championship once, which she lost to Thea Hail on December 16 in a botched finish.

After her attack on Hail at New Year’s Evil, she was ejected from the building by General Manager Ava, which ultimately led to Izzi Dame being crowned the new North American Champion.

NXT Star Vents After Following Recent WWE Main Roster Call-ups

The latest main roster call-up saw NXT talents like Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, and Jordynne Grace move out of the developmental brand.

After New Year’s Evil, Men’s North American Champion Ethan Page cut a backstage promo, accusing his peers of not being thankful of everything that he has done for them.

In a segment featuring him on the show, as many as five superstars interrupted him, leading to several matches set up for the upcoming NXT episode.

In a video, the 36-year-old said that with wrestlers leaving the brand, there was more weight on his shoulders, but he welcomed it.

The WWE star also claimed that he will continue setting an example in 2026 that nobody will be able to follow.
