WWE Money In The Bank 2024 Date And Location Confirmed

WWE Money in the Bank is going to Canada.

Triple H has announced on social media that Money In The Bank will be returning to Canada on July 6th. The popular event will take place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto 24 hours before NXT Heatwave.

WWE SmackDown kicks off the weekend on July 5th, before Money In The Bank takes centre stage.

This summer, for the first time ever, Money in the Bank heads to Toronto and headlines a massive weekend at @ScotiabankArena.

WWE Money In The Bank Has A Lengthy History

The first ever Money In The Bank Ladder Match was held at WrestleMania 21 back in 2005, with Edge emerging victorious. He went on to cash in his contract against John Cena, becoming World Champion.

The match spawned its own event in 2010 and it proved to be one of the most popular shows on WWE’s calendar. A women’s match was finally added in 2017 and Carmella was crowned the inaugural winner.

In 2023, the event headed to London and saw Damian Priest and Iyo Sky win the men’s and women’s matches respectively. Sky has since gone on to win championship gold, while Priest is yet to properly cash in his contract — although it’s not through lack of trying.

The huge event at the o2 Arena also saw a surprise appearance from John Cena.

WWE’s first Premium Live Event of 2024 — the Royal Rumble, is due to take place on January 27th, before the company heads to Australia for Elimination Chamber a month later. The huge event at Optus Stadium in Perth could even feature an appearance from The Rock.
