WWE Legend Urged To Let Hulk Hogan Rest In Peace

WWE Hall Of Famer Claims They Never Witnessed Racism From Hulk Hogan

Bret “The Hitman” Hart recently went off on the late Hulk Hogan.

While in Germany, the WWE Hall of Famer participated in a Q&A session with Walandi Tsanti. There, he discussed his ascension in the Stamford promotion while being surrounded by legends such as Mr. Perfect, Roddy Piper, and Hulk Hogan.

The 68-year-old recalled experiencing backstage politics, which led to him missing out on big matches.

He then revealed Vince McMahon’s decision to give him another big push, which, fortunately for Bret, worked. He subsequently wrestled the likes of Mr. Perfect and Roddy Piper.

I owe a lot to Mr. Perfect. He was the first guy to go in there and show everybody how good I was. Curt was one of my favorite guys to wrestle. He was the first guy to step up and make me. Roddy Piper was the second.

This is when he continued and spoke about fellow WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan.

When I look back on my career and the wrestling industry, I look back at what Roddy and Mr. Perfect did for me. I can tell you that Hulk Hogan never did that for anybody. He never helped anybody else after his time as the top guy. He’d rather see the company sink than actually come back and make the next star, which in wrestling that’s how it is.

WWE Great Urges Bret Hart To Let Hulk Hogan Rest In Peace

During an appearance on The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, former WWE SmackDown manager and Hall of Famer, Teddy Long, expressed disappointment at Bret Hart’s statement about Hulk Hogan.

When asked if there was any truth to Hart’s comments, he said:

I never heard that. It may be true, I don’t know. But if the man’s dead, let’s let him rest in peace, you know what I mean?

Bret may know something, you know, more devastating than you and I may know. You know what I mean? It might be eating him, you know what I mean, to talk about it. Bret Hart is a guy that can speak about things, and there’s no retribution.
