WWE Legend Blasts Goldberg While Praising Brock Lesnar
A WWE legend has praised Brock Lesnar for his professionalism while taking a dig at Goldberg for lacking the same quality.
Bret “The Hitman’ Hart was recently in Montreal on the anniversary of the Montreal Screwjob incident.
While appearing on the Johnny I Pro Show, the 68-year-old wrestling great compared modern-day wrestling to the bygone years, claiming that he has a hard time watching the current product.
I have a hard time watching today’s wrestling… It’s too fake for me. I think that today’s wrestlers are actors. Most of them are actors pretending to be wrestlers. And, you know, they don’t actually know how to wrestle, and they don’t even know what a headlock is… I see guys throwing punches, and they open their hand at the last second and slap the guy…
Why don’t you take 10 minutes and go down have someone teach you how to throw a punch instead of throwing that embarrassment of a punch?
Bret Hart Praises WWE’s Brock Lesnar And Thrashes Goldberg
Bret Hart and Goldberg have a storied history, one that did not get a happy ending.
The WWE great often blames the Georgia-billed athlete for ending his career despite the latter apologizing on more than one occasion.
This time around, ‘The Excellence of Execution’ was discussing wrestlers whom he would have loved to wrestle.
His picks included the likes of Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio, Lance Storm, and John Cena.
I would love to have wrestled Dwayne Johnson a lot more times… John Cena would be up [there]. I found John Cena was very comparable or similar to me in the sense that he was a serious professional, that he was a detailed guy that went over every little detail in the match.
Then he opined about Brock Lesnar’s professionalism while taking a shot at Goldberg, his long-time nemesis.
I would like to wrestle Brock Lesnar. I’ve always heard from different guys that Brock Lesnar is a professional… He’s not like Goldberg. He knows what the wrestling is all about, and he does it right. And some guys like Goldberg never understood it. [H/T: WrestlingNews.co]
