WWE Injury Crisis Worsens As Two More Stars Sidelined

WWE Arena Live

WWE has added two more wrestlers to its injury list.

Some of the most recently injured stars are Liv Morgan, Otis, Chad Gable, and Kevin Owens.

The Stamford-based company revived the women’s tag team division despite Morgan’s injury by appointing Roxanne Perez as the temporary replacement.

Perez, along with Raquel Rodriguez, will defend the Women’s Tag Team Titles at Evolution against three other teams.

Kevin Owens’ injury directly affected the WrestleMania 41 PLE, as he was scheduled to face Randy Orton in a singles match. TNA star Joe Hendry ultimately replaced him.

Otis was recently removed from the active roster, as Fightful Select reported, citing an elbow injury and his subsequent surgery.

Gable, too, confirmed having undergone surgery on the June 30 WWE RAW episode and was seen wearing a cast.

New Catch Republic Are WWE’s Latest Injured Stars

New Catch Republic stars Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate are injured, too.

Bate returned on the March 31 RAW episode after being sidelined due to an injury in July 2024. He partnered with Dunne against The New Day in a losing cause.

In the subsequent weeks, the pair was not used frequently, which affected the men’s tag team division on the red brand due to a lack of challengers.

While appearing on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez reported that both Dunne and Bate were injured.

I can give everybody a scoop. I believe both Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne are injured.

WWE has yet to release an official statement. With both wrestlers currently out of action for months, there is no update on when fans can expect to see them again.

Meanwhile, the men’s tag team titles changed hands on the recent RAW episode, with Judgment Day members Finn Balor and McDonagh getting the best of The New Day.
