WWE In Contact With Another Star About A Return

A new report has indicated that WWE has been in contact with another former Superstar about a possible return to the company.

Since Triple H was named WWE’s new Head of Creative following the retirement of Vince McMahon, speculation has been rife about The Game potentially bringing back a number of superstars who have been released from the company in recent months.

Fans didn’t have to wait long for some of the speculation to become reality as Dakota Kai made her shock return at SummerSlam alongside Bayley. The two were also joined by IYO SKY, who was said to be on the verge of leaving the company.

On the August 5th edition of SmackDown, Karrion Kross and Scarlett returned in the main event segment. Kross attacked Drew McIntyre as Roman Reigns watched on.

More recently, Dexter Lumis made his surprise return on the most recent edition of Raw, being escorted out of the arena by police.

Additionally, there have also been reports that an agreement has already been reached to bring Sasha Banks and Naomi back to WWE television following their walkout.

Now, Fightful Select reports that Shawn Michaels has been tasked with reaching out to Johnny Gargano shortly after Triple H took on his new role. However, there is currently no word on how the discussions went.

If Gargano does return, it could signal a comeback for his popular NXT faction, The Way, which consisted of Gargano, Lumis, Indi Hartwell and Theory.
