Jacob Fatu is expected to undergo a significant character change soon.

Since he arrived at WWE last year, The Samoan Werewolf has become one of SmackDown’s top heels as part of Solo Sikoa’s faction.

However, tension has been growing between the current United States Champion and his cousin. He has also not been welcoming of the addition of JC Mateo to the group.

On a recent episode of the Rebooked podcast, former WWE Superstar Matthew Rehwoldt (FKA Aiden English) discussed the future of the 33-year-old. He predicted that The Samoan Werewolf would soon turn babyface:

They [WWE] like him [Jacob Fatu], we like him, crowds like him. He is taking off this year, especially post-Mania, right? He’s going full babyface sooner than later. [H/T: Sportskeeda]

Rikishi thinks Jacob Fatu could become a WWE Hall of Famer

On the Off The Top podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi praised Jacob Fatu’s current run in the Stamford-based company.

The 59-year-old stated that he felt people could relate to The Samoan Werewolf. He pointed out that his family member would be a future Hall of Famer if WWE booked him appropriately:

The story alone, I feel a lot of people can relate to that… Now, we all like a positive story… And the fans, you know, they just seize this this, they feel like they’re on a ride with the with the icon to be made absolutely right? Because they all see him coming for the first season in the making, right?”

He’s the heel and he’s got merchandise. Yeah, right, the hottest selling merchandise. If WWE would not make your merchandise, if they don’t feel that you’re generating revenue and you’re becoming a fan favorite, right?”

“You stick Jacob with the right guys, the right names and the right angle? Yeah, you’re looking at a future Hall of Famer.

Matthew Rehwoldt laid out a scenario where Jacob Fatu would end up with the Money in the Bank briefcase despite not being in the ladder match.
