WWE Hall of Famer’s Son Holds Triple H Talks
The son of a Hall Of Famer has had good things to say about conversations with Triple H while teasing a potential WWE future.
When Bill Goldberg joined WWE in the spring of 2003, he had a one-year run in the company that saw him feud with Triple H over the World Heavyweight Title on the Raw brand.
That rivalry between Goldberg and Triple H is not celebrated as some all-time great storyline, but they were natural rivals since Hunter was a top heel on Raw while Goldberg was a beloved babyface.
Goldberg came back to WWE in 2016 for a run that lasted several more years with big matches against the likes of Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, and Bobby Lashley. During those appearances, Goldberg’s son Gage often appeared with him.
Gage Goldberg is now a freshman linebacker at the University of Colorado with head coach Deion Sanders. Goldberg was a teammate of Sanders during their playing days and that’s why Gage is there too.
Triple H Has Talked To Goldberg’s Son Gage About WWE Future
In an interview with Bill Apter for Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, Gage was asked if he has talked to Hunter about the possibility of working for WWE someday and Gage replied emphatically: “Oh yeah.”
As for his thoughts on WWE’s Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Gage had good things to say about his possible future boss.
“I honestly love Triple H. He’s super nice to my dad, great person, very nice to my mom. I like him. Honestly, he’s awesome.”
After Goldberg made an appearance at WWE Bad Blood in Atlanta in October, Triple H made it clear that a possible WWE return for Goldberg could happen.
It has also been confirmed by Bill Goldberg that at some point in 2025, he will have a WWE retirement match. No dates have been mentioned about when that match will take place.
