A WWE Hall of Famer has praised The Young Bucks despite not always agreeing with them.

After disappearing from AEW television following Full Gear back in November, The Young Bucks made their highly anticipated return on the January 10th episode of Dynamite. Sporting a new look the polarising duo stared down Sting and Darby Allin, planting the seeds of a new rivalry between the two teams.

It’s been reported that Sting handpicked The Young Bucks for his final match at Revolution, something that hasn’t gone down well with some fans on social media.

Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T gave his thoughts on The Bucks’ upcoming assignment. The WWE Hall of Famer praised the pair for the work, despite not always agreeing with everything they do.

“I think those guys would be able to go out there and do it right. I mean, those guys, they can perform. I can’t take that away from The Bucks. Those guys do a bunch of stuff. They flip around and all that kind of stuff, but when it comes to working, those guys can actually work.

I know they’re going to hear this and say where is this coming from and a lot of people may be saying where is this coming from.

Those guys do a lot of stuff that I don’t agree with, but when it comes to going out there and working, Dammit, they can work. They can flip around and get Sting over probably better than anybody else in that company for that one night.”

Matt Hardy Defends The Young Bucks

In recent days, Matt Hardy also came to the defence of The Young Bucks after they were criticised online. The veteran described the Jackson brothers as “truly amazing” and backed them to do everything possible to ensure Sting retires in style.

In closing, Hardy guaranteed that the match would be a success.
