WWE Hall Of Famer Always Worried About Charlotte Flair
A WWE Hall of Famer has admitted they’re always nervous when Charlotte Flair heads to the top rope.
Charlotte Flair is set to be out of action for nine months after suffering a serious knee injury. During a match against Asuka during the special Tribute To The Troops episode of SmackDown, the star fell awkwardly from the top turnbuckle onto the ring ropes.
As a result of the accident, Flair suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus, while there have also been reports that she sustained a neck injury.
Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T said Flair has “always worried him” on the top rope, even though she very rarely makes mistakes.
“Charlotte always worried me on that top rope. Even as graceful as she’s always been. She’s always been able to stick it. Always a perfect 10 every time. I’ve told her this before.
Even though that was just something that was a bump that was normally routine, it looked like a suplex or something they were getting ready to do. Stuff like that happens. Just like Kenny Omega, I hope she gets back 100 percent and keep doing what she do.”
Charlotte Flair Signs Huge New WWE Deal
However, it’s not all doom and gloom, as Charlotte Flair has reportedly signed a huge new contract with WWE. The deal is said to be for “several” years and will see Flair handed a huge pay rise. Her new contract is believed to be one of the biggest ever given to a female star.
