Triple H WWE

Triple H is doing a “hell of a job,” according to one WWE legend.

As 2025 begins to wind down, Triple H’s honeymoon period as WWE’s Chief Content Officer is well and truly over.

After initially taking over from Vince McMahon, in the eyes of many, when it came to WWE creative, The Game could do no wrong. However, that stance has shifted significantly over the last ten months.

WWE’s Executive Producer has come in for heavy criticism for his handling of John Cena’s heel turn, the main event of WrestleMania 41, and bringing back Brock Lesnar, among other creative missteps. This is against a backdrop of rising ticket prices and the significant backlash against the company after it decided to take WrestleMania 43 to Saudi Arabia.

Triple H Gets Message Of Support

Despite those growing problems, Triple H still has a big supporter in Kurt Angle. During an appearance on the Ariel Helwani Show, Angle praised his skills as a leader and how he’s worked to improve the wrestling industry.

“He’s doing incredibly well, I’m so proud of him, he’s a great leader…

The thing is, him being retired and out of the business, he really looks at it as ‘I need to focus on this business and make it the best it can be’, and he’s done that incredibly well.”

Angle added that his former in-ring rival is doing a great job.

“I think TKO made the right decision on making him in charge of creative, and I think he’s doing a hell of a job.”

During the same interview, Kurt Angle that he initially turned down an offer from Hulk Hogan to work for Real American Freestyle Wrestling. The veteran explained that the first offer to become a commentator was too low, but he ultimately reached an agreement with Hogan shortly before the legend’s passing.
