A longtime friend of The Rock has commented on whether he would for the People’s Champion as the President of the United States.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is known worldwide as one of the most famous people in the world due to his incredible career as an actor for the last 20+ and due to his success as one of the greatest WWE superstars of all-time.

When The Rock appeared on the Day 1 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, WWE noted that his appearance drew over 171 million views on social media over five days. It was by far the record for the highest amount of social media views for anybody in WWE history.

Over the years, the subject has come up about the possibility of The Rock running for the President of the United States due to how popular he is.

Mark Henry is a WWE Hall of Famer who has known Rock personally going back to their rookie years in WWE in 1996. They were also in the Nation of Domination together as well. While talking to Premier Live TV, Henry was asked if he would vote for The Rock as President of the United States.

“It depends on his policy. I can’t let my personal feelings get in the way of the success of the country. He’s gonna have to woo me. He’s gonna have to make some promises and he’s gonna have to keep those promises to the people.”

As he continued, Henry also spoke about how he was proud of his Rock.

“I’m so proud. To see him go and do how well he’s done, it’s been very, very special.”

The Rock Admits He Would Consider Running For US President

When The Rock was on The Tonight Show, he was asked if he would ever run for the President of the United States. He seems open to it, but there are conditions.

“I think down the road for sure. I’ve said this before I’m a proud girl dad, I have a 22-year-old, I have a seven-year-old and I have a five-year-old. So they’re all age ranges and my 22-year-old – I like to say we grew up together.”

“At that time, I was wrestling full-time, 230 dates, wrestling matches a year so I was always gone. And I know what that’s like to have an occupation that takes me away from being a daddy. And this time around with my seven and my five-year-old. I want to be daddy and that’s the most important thing to me.”

As for his future WWE, it is believed that The Rock will be involved in WrestleMania 40 in some way and perhaps other shows as well, especially since he referenced Roman Reigns during his Raw return.
