WWE Hall Of Famer Signs Special AEW Contract

Tony Khan AEW All In

A wrestling legend has signed with AEW.

In recent years, the Von Erich family has developed new ties with AEW, and this eventually saw Marshall and Ros Von Erich sign with the company. Kevin Von Erich also featured on Dynamite to promote the movie “Iron Claw,” which starred MJF and told the story of his famous family.

Fast forward to 2025, and it seems that this association will continue after it was announced that Kevin has signed a contract with the company. He had previously been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009.

Kevin Von Erich Signs AEW “Legends” Deal

The latest episode of The Claw podcast, Marshall and Ross Von Erich revealed that their dad is now officially All Elite. Marshall said that he was surprised to find out that his dad’s now “on the team.”

“My dad is officially AEW. He’s on the team. He’s with AEW now. We were surprised, too. ‘Yeah man, I’m on the team now,’”

Ross added that Kevin has signed a kind of legends deal.

“He’s basically got sort of a legends deal kind of thing, which is awesome. AEW was able to do some cool stuff like that.”

Marshall went on to praise AEW for honoring and bringing in former wrestlers such as his father, before highlighting their impact on the stars of today, like MJF and Will Ospreay.

“I’m so happy AEW…guys that didn’t have a full career in WWE or don’t have a long history with them, it’s cool to have a place for them. What they know, they still have tons of tools to help younger guys. Having guys like my dad in the locker room, you’ll get better.

When my dad is in the locker room, he’ll be in deep conversation with one of the wrestlers. It’s crazy who he impacts and talks to. Ross and I were impressed with the people that really respect him. Will Ospreay, we saw him in passing, and he loved our family and was really impacted by it.

You’re surprised at how many people know the story, especially in current wrestling. Will really is a student. MJF watches World Class all the time.”

Ross and Marshal Von Erich are currently two-thirds of the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions with another Texas legend, Dustin Rhodes. Meanwhile, it’s been announced that Rhodes and Sammy Guevara will defend their ROH World Tag Team Championship against The Infantry at Supercard of Honor on July 11.
