WWE Hall Of Famer Thinks Seth Rollins Should Be “Where Roman Reigns Is”
A WWE Hall of Famer has discussed their admiration for Seth Rollins and thinks WWE should have Rollins in a similar position to Roman Reigns.
Seth Rollins was in fine form at the 2023 Royal Rumble where he entered the men’s Rumble match at number 15 and made it to the final four, lasting over 37 minutes in the bout. Ultimately he was eliminated by Logan Paul and so was stopped from repeating his success in 2019 when he won the Rumble.
Rollins is a perennially featured talent in WWE but despite holding both the WWE and Universal Championships in the past, he hasn’t held either since October 2019. Since then his former partner in The Shield, Roman Reigns, has made the Universal Championship his own, holding the title for well over 800 days and counting.
Speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, Olympic gold medallist Kurt Angle explained why he’s a big fan of Seth Rollins and thinks he should be on an equal footing with Reigns:
“I really like Seth Rollins. I love the character he’s doing right now – the flamboyant thing. He is such a great wrestler, such a great talent. I know the company utilized him a lot in the past couple of years, but I think they don’t utilize him enough. I think this guy should be where Roman Reigns is, on top all the time.”
Seth Rollins made headlines before the Royal Rumble when he shared his forthright thoughts about CM Punk, branding the AEW star “a cancer.”
