WWE Hall Of Famer Proud Of Jade Cargill After Heel Turn

Jade Cargill shocked the WWE Universe by turning heel recently.

On the October 24 taping of SmackDown, Cargill attacked Tiffany Stratton, but not before assisting her to thwart away the heels, Giulia and Kianna James. It was a clever ruse.

While assaulting Stratton, the 33-year-old also stomped on her knee, which may leave the Women’s WWE Champion feeling less than 100% going into Saturday Night’s Main Event XLI on November 1.

Jade Cargill participated in and won the Queen of the Ring Tournament to stake a claim at Stratton’s title at SummerSlam, but surprisingly lost that bout, too.

A couple of months later, she teamed up with the 26-year-old to take on Nia Jax and Becky Lynch in a tag team match.

Cargill was then featured in a triple threat match alongside Jax to challenge for the belt, which Tiffany Stratton won, despite the odds stacked against her.

It is understandable that frustrations boiled over gradually for The Storm, resulting in her heel turn. But not everyone is unhappy about it.

WWE Legend Believes Jade Cargill Is Tailor-Made To Be Heel

Mark Henry was approached by Jade Cargill when she decided to enter the business full-time.

So, naturally, they share a close bond, and Henry feels proud of her accomplishments in wrestling.

The Hall of Famer expressed happiness over WWE’s decision during an appearance on the latest Busted Open After Dark podcast, calling Cargill ‘more of a natural heel.’

So proud to see Jade Cargill finally be what she always wanted to be, and that’s herself. It’s very rare that wrestlers get to use their own names, one, and on top of that, she’s just tailor-made to be the heel. Very proud of the fact that Jade Cargill is gonna be what I think she’ll be better at. I think she’ll be better at being a heel. She’s more of a natural heel. [H/T: 411Mania.com]
