WWE Hall Of Famer Confirms Retirement At 53

One WWE Hall of Famer has officially called time on their illustrious career that saw them win gold in every major promotion they competed in.

At TNA Bound For Glory, one of the greatest tag team rivalries ever was revisited as The Hardys put the TNA and NXT Tag Team Championships on the line against The Dudley Boyz in a match billed as One Final Table.

The Hardys won the bout, retaining their gold, but the match took on greater significance after the bell. Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley removed their boots and handed them over to their rivals, indicating that their time in the ring was now over.

D-Von Dudley Rules Out WWE Return

Speaking on the Duke Loves Rasslin podcast, D-Von Dudley confirmed that his in-ring days are now completely behind him, unless that is someone stumps up a whole lot of cash:

Look, six figures, or even almost close to seven figures, can make a man do anything. It can make him go back on his word quick. But I just don’t see it. I don’t see WWE doing that. So, therefore, you know, I’m going to leave it at that.

I also feel that we did so well in this match to do it again, or to keep doing it again, is just going to be redundant. I don’t think we should. I think we should leave on this note, and that’s it.

D-Von Dudley might want to keep in mind that WrestleMania in 2027 will be held in Saudi Arabia, and it’s believed several legends could be in line for major paydays on that show if they want to compete.
