WWE Hall Of Famer Jerry Lawler Undergoes Surgery

Jerry Lawler WWE

After a year of health concerns for Jerry Lawler, the WWE Hall of Famer has been forced to go under the knife.

Jerry Lawler suffered a serious stroke back in February 2023. In the following weeks, he underwent outpatient therapy in Fort Myers but progressed enough to travel to his home in Memphis, Tennessee in early March.

During a commercial break on Raw in August 2023 in Lawler’s hometown, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn cut a promo to the audience. Both of them began by saying they were in a bad mood due to all the problems that The Judgment Day had caused. But then, Zayn noted that his mood improved significantly when he saw “a certain someone” backstage. Then Owens took over and announced Lawler to the crowd, who gave him a standing ovation and an extended “Jerry” chant.

Lawler came out to his usual entrance theme wearing a black shirt and baseball cap. The only thing noticeable thing about his appearance was that he had a grey and white beard.

Jerry Lawler Goes Under The Knife

Now PWInsider has reported that Jerry Lawler has undergone knee replacement surgery. There is no word on Lawler’s condition or exactly when he went under the knife.

Lawler is one WWE legend who has been reported to be on his way to WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, whether this surgery prevents that from happening remains to be seen.

Everyone at TJR Wrestling wishes Jerry Lawler a full and speedy recovery.
