WWE Finding “More & More Faith” In Raw Star

WWE Survivor Series Battle Royal

WWE management is reportedly finding more and more faith in Dominik Mysterio given his recent performances and the young star looks set for a historic WrestleMania showdown.

Dominik Mysterio only made his in-ring WWE debut at SummerSlam 2020 and was closely associated with his father Rey Mysterio on television, with the pair even going on to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship together.

However, all that changed at Clash at the Castle when the younger Mysterio turned his back on his father and Edge as he joined The Judgment Day. Dominik Mysterio seems to have bloomed on WWE television since joining the group through his relationship with Rhea Ripley and his recent ‘Prison Dom’ persona.

WRKD Wrestling has reported that WWE has more belief in Dominik Mysterio and that he will be featured on both main roster shows as he is set for an incredible WrestleMania bout:

“WWE has gained more and more faith in Dominik Mysterio in recent months and plan on using him on both Raw and Smackdown leading to Wrestlemania, where the current plan is to face Rey Mysterio in a singles match.”

Dominik Mysterio made his WrestleMania debut in 2022 when he teamed with Rey Mysterio in a loss to The Miz and Logan Paul. Long-time viewers will be put in mind of the 2005 WrestleMania clash between Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero by the planned bout with the younger Mysterio recently discussing his connection to his WWE papi.
