WWE Filming Cody Rhodes Documentary
WWE have recently been capturing footage for inclusion in a new Cody Rhodes documentary.
The 38 year-old is set to be the focal point of a follow up to widely acclaimed Peacock documentary “American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes“, which was released on 31st July 2023.
The first feature length show detailed Rhodes’ return to WWE at WrestleMania 38 and followed his journey to the main event of WrestleMania 39, where he was expected to lift the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship but ultimately fell short when challenging Roman Reigns.
Rhodes has been at the very forefront of WWE programming ever since and is set to headline both night’s of WrestleMania 40, set to take place at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field on 6th and 7th April.
Night One sees Rhodes team with Seth Rollins to battle Roman Reigns and The Rock in a tag team bout with huge implications for Rhodes’ second tilt at Reigns’ Championship in the final bout on Night Two.
The WWE film crew have been following Rhodes once more as he attempts to finish his story and the footage could prove an intriguing watch after original plans for him to sit out the main event of this year’s WrestleMania in favour of a bout between the Rock and Roman Reigns were shelved after fan backlash.
