WWE Faction Gets Official Name

One WWE faction got its first taste of championship gold recently and now the union has been solidified as they now have an official name.

Since joining WWE after his AEW run came to an end Shawn Spears has tried to get under the skin of many stars on the NXT brand. However, it was when he got in the mind of some up-and-coming talent that things started to turn his way.

Spears has worked his magic on Brooks Jensen and Niko Vance in recent months turning them into his own personal henchmen as he tries to elevate their career. Shawn Spears had another trick up his sleeve to get to Tony D’Angelo as Izzi Dame looked to get too close to The Don of NXT. However, Dame turned on D’Angelo proving her true allegiance was to Shawn Spears.

The Culling Come To WWE

Now as a quartet, Shawn Spears was able to capture the NXT North American Championship from Tony D’Angelo and now his group has its very own name. At NXT Roadblock, it was confirmed that Spears’ group will now be known as The Culling.

The Culling’s Brooks Jensen, Niko Vance, and Izzi Dame will face Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo, Luca Crusifino, and Adriana Rizzo of the D’Angelo Family on the March 18 edition of NXT.
