WWE Executive Names Best Babyface In Wrestling

Former WWE Champion Reveals Details About An Infamous Public Fight

One of WWE’s behind-the-scenes difference makers has had their say on the best babyface in the business.

In its simplest form professional wrestling is a tale of good vs. evil with fans paying their hard-earned money to watch the beloved good guy triumph over adversity and their hated rival.

For this to work, the babyface in question needs to really be loved by fans, while their opposite number needs to be detested. Apathy is the promoter’s enemy.

With WWE currently riding high the main event scene is dominated by huge personalities fans love to see. But Executive Vice President Road Dogg believes there are three that stand above all the others.

Speaking on Oh You Didn’t Know, the veteran praised Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and former WWE star Bryan Danielson.

“I’m gonna say Cody, but Punk is back and people love Punk. He is kind of the anti-hero. I believe the people believe he speaks for them, and man does that carry weight. I look at Seth Rollins too, and I think he’s doing his best work ever. He reinvented himself as a different kind of character now and has the title. There’s a lot of good baby faces.

I also love a good Daniel Bryan, who I don’t know if he’s a heel or a babyface, but he’s always that little guy who will kick your ass and that’s all that matters. I don’t know if you remember when Brock threw him on his head one time and the whole world thought he was out of wrestling again and then he came back to kick Brock’s ass a little bit before getting beat and it was the best thing I’ve ever seen in my life.

He’s the underdog and he’s that scrappy underdog who can carry his weight and then some. So I don’t know. Probably Cody. I’m gonna go with Cody.”

Cody Rhodes & CM Punk Heading To WWE Royal Rumble

With WrestleMania season just around the corner, CM Punk and Cody Rhodes will both be taking part in the Royal Rumble match on January 27th.

Meanwhile, things looked much less certain for Seth Rollins who has suffered a knee injury.
