WWE Donating Proceeds Of Bray Wyatt Merch To His Family
WWE is looking after the family of Bray Wyatt after his tragic death.
The wrestling world was rocked once again just one day after the news broke about the death of WWE Hall of Famer Terry Funk when Triple H announced that Windham Rotunda, better known to WWE fans as Bray Wyatt had passed away at the tender age of 36.
The Rock has led tributes to the former WWE Champion who only returned to WWE after a hiatus in October 2022. During that spell back in the company, Wyatt only competed once where he defeated LA Knight in a Mountain Dew Pitch Black match at the 2023 Royal Rumble.
Wyatt had looked set to face Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39 but after just one interaction between the two men, Wyatt was taken off TV, and the match was scrapped.
WWE helping Bray Wyatt’s family
Following the death of Bray Wyatt, WWE has added the following descriptor to the star’s merch on its online shop indicating that proceeds for the items will be donated to his wife, former WWE ring announcer JoJo Offerman, and his young kids:
“In the wake of Bray Wyatt’s death, WWE will donate all net proceeds to support JoJo Offerman and Bray’s children.”
Sean Ross Sapp reported that he’d been given permission to disclose Wyatt’s cause of death and it seems the star suffered a heart attack after making “positive progress” after a bout of COVID earlier in 2023 had exacerbated heart issues.
Everyone at TJR Wrestling continues to send their condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Bray Wyatt at this difficult time.
