A female wrestler recently teased a return to WWE.

Nikki Bella made her WWE return on February 1, 2025, appearing as the final entrant in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match. She surprised fans by eliminating Bayley before being eliminated herself by Nia Jax.

Bella officially came back to television on June 9, 2025, during an episode of Raw in her home state of Arizona. She was warmly received as she promoted the Evolution 2 event. She quickly began appearing in matches again, including the Evolution Battle Royal at Clash in Paris, where she placed fourth.

She then started a feud with the Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Becky Lynch, for the title. She faced The Man for the belt at Clash in Paris on August 31, but came up short.

Shortly afterwards, AJ Lee returned to WWE. On the September 5 episode of SmackDown, she made a shocking comeback and confronted Becky Lynch for slapping her husband, CM Punk. This marked her first appearance in the company after over a decade away.

Later, she was spotted backstage with Triple H, signing a new deal. Reports confirmed she signed a multi-year, full-time contract, indicating a long-term return rather than a one-off appearance. She’s set to make her in-ring return at Wrestlepalooza on September 20 in Indianapolis, where she will team up with The Second City Saint to take on the team of Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.

Summer Rae Eyeing WWE Return After AJ Lee and Nikki Bella

A few hours ago, WWE Diva Summer Rae, real name Danielle Moinet, took to her X (Twitter) handle to share a cryptic tweet. She tweeted about returning home, signaling an interest in a WWE comeback.

She wrote, “Think it’s time to come home………”

Rae was officially released in October 2017 after being inactive for over a year due to injuries. She returned to the ring at the 2022 Royal Rumble, which was won by Ronda Rousey. She entered at number 23 and attacked Natalya, but was quickly eliminated by her in less than a minute. It also marked her last match in WWE.
