Former WWE Divas Champion Making In-Ring Return
A former women’s wrestling champion is going against WWE’s narrative that she has retired and has confirmed that she will, in fact, be wrestling again soon.
Alicia Fox had one of the longest official tenures in modern WWE history, at least by women’s wrestling standards. She signed with WWE in 2006 and stayed with the company until earlier this year, with her time in WWE lasting 17 years on and off.
After her WWE career came to a close, the company listed her as retired from in-ring competition. However, Alicia Fox herself has countered those claims by insisting she’ll be back inside a wrestling ring soon.
According to a report by WrestlingNews.co, Alicia Fox has been in talks with Booker T and his wife Sharmell, both of whom run the Reality of Wrestling promotion based in Texas. If things go smoothly, she will be making her in-ring return for ROW on their show scheduled for July 15th.
Alicia Fox won the Divas Championship back in 2010 and held it for two months before losing it to Melina. She also won the 24/7 Championship from R-Truth and then lost it back to him minutes later after she had been eliminated from the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble match.
