WWE Denies New Vignettes Are Linked To Rumoured Major Signing

WWE Logo over Roster

WWE has issued a denial about a new vignette.

For several months it’s been believed that WWE is in pole position to land Giulia. The star is widely regarded as one of the top female wrestlers in the world, and she’s expected to head to the United States in 2024.

Giulia began her career back in 2017, and in seven short years, she’s notched up accolades in Japan and currently holds the NJPW STRONG Women’s Title.

The speculation around the star recently went up a notch following the airing of the “three faces” vignette in NXT, which many think ties in with a Japanese parable.

However, it seems things might not be quite that simple. A new report from Fightful Select noted that those within NXT claim the vignettes are not related to Giulia.

WWE Target Expected To Land In AEW

According to recent reports, WWE is set to miss out on re-signing Mercedes Mone, with the star formerly known as Sasha Banks said to be on the brink of debuting in AEW.

In fact, there are some who claim Mone has been signed to AEW for weeks.

Interestingly, the Boston Garden has revealed it will be hosting AEW on March 13th — Mone spent much of her youth in Boston and began her career there.
