In 2021 the event took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in front of a reported crowd of 22,000 fans. The night’s main event saw one of many one-on-one matches between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar with Reigns retaining his Universal Championship on that occasion.
It was at Crown Jewel 2021 that winners of the King of the Ring and Queen’s Crown tournaments were revealed when Xavier Woods and Zelina Vega picked up the wins in their respective tournaments.
WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg was in action, picking up a big win over Bobby Lashley and Becky Lynch saw off Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair to retain her SmackDown Women’s Championship.
