Update On WWE Creative Plans For Rhea Ripley, Bayley And More

Rhea Ripley holding WWE Women's World Championship

WrestleMania plans for Rhea Ripley and Bayley are falling into place.

With the Royal Rumble now in the history books, all thoughts are beginning to turn to WrestleMania.

On the men’s side, Cody Rhodes looks to finally finish his story against Roman Reigns after winning the Rumble, and it’s been claimed that Seth Rollins (injury permitting) will take on CM Punk. However, things in the women’s division are currently a little more uncertain.

Between the Rumble and WrestleMania is the small matter of Elimination Chamber, which is set to be held at Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia. Furthermore, the event will seemingly have a big impact on the women’s division heading into WrestleMania 40.

According to a new report from Mike Johnson via PWInsider Elite, a women’s Elimination Chamber Match will be held in Australia, with the winner going on to face Ripley at WrestleMania. Johnson adds that Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan “should be considered favourites.”

As expected, this leaves Royal Rumble winner Bayley to face IYO SKY at the spectacular in Philadelphia.

Rhea Ripley To Be Joined In WWE By Buddy Matthews?

It’s been reported that Rhea Ripley could soon be joined in WWE by her fiancee Buddy Matthews. The report claimed that Matthews and his House of Black partner Malakai Black are hoping to head back to WWE as soon as they can.

Both men were released by the company in June 2021 before going on to join AEW, although Matthews didn’t become All Elite until February 2022.

Malakai Black is married to SmackDown star Zelina Vega.
