WWE Could Hold Two WrestleManias In The Same Year

Triple H WWE Press Conference

WWE’s deal with Saudi Arabia could move to a whole new level.

Back in 2018, WWE signed a huge deal with Saudi Arabia, which would see two Premium Live Events in the kingdom per year.

Despite the relationship being surrounded by controversy, it will take another massive step in 2026 as Saudi Arabia hosts the Royal Rumble. This had led many to feel that “A-Shows” in the kingdom will become a regular occurrence.

To add to the speculation, Saudi Arabia’s Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh, claimed he’d signed a huge deal for 2027. Although he’s yet to officially announce the event involved, many expect it to be WrestleMania.

WWE Could Make Major WrestleMania Change

According to a new report, there’s a growing belief that WrestleMania will be held in Saudi Arabia in the coming years. Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer confirmed that this could happen as soon as 2027.

However, this could lead to WWE making the unprecedented step of holding two WrestleManias in the same year, an idea that has been floated previously as a way of accommodating an international event.

The report added that those in Saudi Arabia are pushing for The Rock to headline a prospective WrestleMania in the kingdom. The Hollywood star hasn’t wrestled since teaming with Roman Reigns to beat Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on night one of WrestleMania 40.

He famously missed WrestleMania 41 despite playing a huge role in John Cena turning heel at Elimination Chamber.
