WWE Content Set To Be Removed From Hulu
WWE could be leaving Hulu.
Back in 2012, WWE came to terms with Hulu to air edited and shortened episodes of Monday Night RAW and SmackDown on a one-day delay. The company’s Main Event show is also exclusive to the popular streaming service.
While negotiations are ongoing between both parties, PWInsider reports that if no new deal is reached, WWE’s content will be removed from the platform on 9/25.
As previously mentioned, Hulu is the exclusive home to Main Event, in addition to the delayed airings of both RAW and SmackDown. However, in Hulu’s archives, fans can find episodes of Total Divas, Total Bellas, Superstars, and 205 Live. Many fans forget that when both companies’ partnership first began back in 2012, Hulu was the exclusive home of NXT during the brand’s early days at Full Sail University.
TJR will provide any updates on the partnership between both parties.
