Newly Crowned WWE Champion Tipped For Goldberg-Type Run
Retired star wants to see Jade Cargill have a Goldberg-type run.
Cargill made a shocking return on the October 24, 2025, episode of Friday Night SmackDown, slapping a big heel twist on her character. Just when it looked like she was coming to support the Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton against a brutal double-team attack from Giulia and Kiana James, she flipped the script and instead viciously attacked Stratton.
This sudden betrayal immediately turned her into a full-blown heel, sending shockwaves through the WWE Universe. Her betrayal was cold and calculated, targeting Stratton’s knee and smashing her against steel steps.
The fallout from this jaw-dropping heel turn set the stage for a high-stakes championship clash at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1, 2025. Tiffany Stratton was determined to defend her title, but Cargill dethroned her to crown herself the new Women’s Champion.
Ex-WWE star Matt Morgan Congratulates Jade Cargill After Title Victory
Following Cargill’s monumental victory at SNME, retired pro wrestler Matt Morgan congratulated her on X (Twitter). In his tweet, Morgan highlighted how happy he was to see Cargill become the new champ, as he was confident that she deserved to win the title.
He also said that Triple H should book her for a “Goldberg-type” run, by which he probably meant his legendary 173-0 undefeated streak in WCW from 1997 to 1998.
“Let’s go!!! Huge congrats to my friend @Jade_Cargill for winning the women’s championship tonight at @Wwe #SNME!! This girl has put in so much work to get here that It’s not even funny! Now?
