Tatum Paxley is the new NXT Women’s Champion.

Tatum Paxley became the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship by winning a 21-woman battle royal on the October 14, 2025, episode of NXT. At WWE NXT Halloween Havoc on October 25, 2025, Tatum Paxley challenged reigning champion Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship.

The match itself was gritty and physical, with Jayne using underhanded tactics and her Fatal Influence allies to keep the advantage throughout. Despite all this, Paxley fought back and ultimately pinned Jayne with her signature Cemetery Driver move to capture her first NXT Women’s title, ending Jayne’s five-month reign.

On the same night, Blake Monore challenged Zaria for the NXT Women’s North American Champion and won. For those who are wondering why Monroe faced Zaria instead of Sol Ruca at Halloween Havoc, it was because Ruca injured herself on the October 17 edition of Friday Night SmackDown while challenging Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion.
