WWE Star Recalls Brock Lesnar Attack Leading To Wardrobe Malfunction

Brock Lesnar

A veteran on the WWE roster recalled the time when Brock Lesnar gave him the F5 leading to a certain piece of wardrobe getting ripped.

In the fall of 2021, Brock Lesnar was feuding with the WWE Universal Champion on the SmackDown brand.

The October 22, 2021 edition of Smackdown saw Brock Lesnar attack several people including referees, a camera guy and officials. Lesnar’s actions led to WWE Official Adam Pearce telling Lesnar that he would be indefinitely suspended for his actions.

At that point, Lesnar got into the ring with Pearce as the fans chanted “Suplex City” for Lesnar, who grabbed Pearce by the shirt collar. Lesnar told Pearce to tell him again. Pearce: “I said you’re indefinitely suspended.” Lesnar shoved Pearce into the turnbuckle. Lesnar picked up Pearce and gave him an F5 in the ring. The fans loved it, so Lesnar gave Pearce another F5. It was evident that part of Pearce’s pants ripped around the legs. Lesnar asked Pearce to tell him again, but Pearce was out to end the segment.

During an interview with Chris Van Vliet, current WWE Raw GM Adam Pearce, who is a Producer behind the scenes, recalled his pants-ripping moment after taking two F5’s from Lesnar.

“That was amazing. They split on the first one, which was hilarious. I remember saying to Brock ‘Hey, how do you grab for the F5? I know it’s a firemans carry.’ So he showed me how he’s gonna grab me and I said ‘Don’t worry, I’ll get light for you.’ He goes ‘You don’t have to.’ I said ‘I know I don’t have to, but I will. Brother, I got you.'”

“What a pro. What a freak athlete. [Did you know they’d split the first time?] No, I didn’t know they split until I got in the back and everyone was laughing at the fact that I split my pants and I was like, why don’t you take two F5s and see what happens?”

As he continued, Pearce confirmed that Lesnar only did the second F5 because the fans wanted it.

“He listened to the crowd because they started chanting ‘One more time. One more time. One more time. One more time.’ I’m laying there and kind of look up and again, professionalism, we made eye contact. When the eye contact was sustained for longer than two or three seconds I knew that one more time was gonna happen, which is cool.”

Brock Lesnar’s WWE Future Is Unknown

The last time Brock Lesnar competed in a WWE ring was at SummerSlam 2023 over a year ago when he lost to Cody Rhodes. Lesnar was supposed to return at the Royal Rumble, but days earlier Lesnar was implicated in the Vince McMahon sex trafficking lawsuit that was filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant.

It has been reported recently by Dave Meltzer that is the decision of WWE’s legal team to keep Lesnar off television due to the lawsuit while making it clear it was not Lesnar’s decision about when he can return to WWE television.
